I would like to thank everyone who came out and helped with the event last Friday.  The second Coffee House turned out to be an even bigger success than the first.

This Coffee House was held in the honor of Dr. Martin Luther King and also to help aid the people of Haiti. I am proud to say that with your help, we were able to raise over $1000 for Haiti. I look forward to our next meeting and the planning of our third Coffee House.

Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know that our first coffee house was a huge success, with approx. 100 kids attending, listening to music from several bands, enjoying some poetry reading and looking at art work that was presented.  A special thank you to Andy Brady who hosted us at the Baird Center (helping us set up the music system and staying until closing time), and Officer Jared Adams (who attended before his regular shift began), Diana Hart for her inspiration and of course Kevin Mason and the YAB who helped put it all together.  We are already planning the next one!
